Alisha Dall’Osto
Alisha Dall’Osto is a Seattle-based artist who currently enjoys drawing and painting when out exploring the natural world. Recent works featured on this website set out to interpret the ever-changing light, color, texture and energy in geographic and natural forms. Some images return with her to the indoor studio and become larger or more detailed paintings.
Dall’Osto studied Fine Art at Kenyon College in Ohio where she earned her BA, and with painters Mark Kang O’Higgins and Terry Furchgott at the Gage Academy of Art in Seattle. For many years, Dall’Osto taught visual art to youth and adults including foundation drawing, portraiture, painting and mixed media in venues including many Seattle Public Schools, the Gage Academy of Fine Art, University of Washington Summer Programs, and community centers. She is available for commissions and private lessons upon request.
